How do I free up space on my Mac without losing work?
Start with files that rebuild themselves: app caches, logs, Xcode build files, simulators and the Adobe media cache. Then look at old downloads and large files, but check that footage has a copy first. Sweepsure does this for you: it groups what is safe, locks your projects and only-copy footage, and moves everything to the Trash first.
Is it safe to delete Xcode DerivedData?
